Cost Per Click on the Rise
John Battelle has an interesting chart that shows the rising trend in cost-per-click. What is interesting for me is the huge jump in CPC for 3+ keywords compared to a comparatively small percentage increase for 1-2 keywords.

It either means a). Advertisers are realizing that 3+ keywords convert at a higher rate or b). Advertisers are only willing to pay around $1.80 per click and are trending to 3+ keywords in order to get lower CPCs - or maybe c) all of the above.
