Google Desktop for the Mac?

According to the Mac Observer, Google may yet introduce a Mac version of its new Desktop tool.

"We haven't ruled out a Mac version for the future," Google public relations spokesman Nathan Tyler said. "Our plan is to perfect the product in its current state, then consider options for other platforms like the Mac at that time."

Translation, Mac users are a little more demanding than Windows users and they won't tolerate anything crappy.
