Search marketing in the new media era.

More on Traffic Power's Fake Forums
The idiots that created the fake forums purely to promote Traffic Power and 1P.com have slipped up again. Each new post to their fake forum pings Feedster, which in turn ends up on my news aggregator. Once there, it stays there until I delete it.

My point is that some real people made some comments about the poor service from TP on these fake forums. However, they appear to have been deleted from the forum threads. Here's some that the fake forum owners decided didn't fit in with their plans.

Funny thing, people are not stupid and will see right through you biased nonsense. Sad, get a life soon dudes :d

Author: jonjon Subject: bad Posted: Thu Sep 30, 2004 11:37 pm (GMT 0) Topic Replies: 6 I am a former client of theirs and they optimized my site 8 months ago. I was up to #1 within a few weeks but a month later my sites dropped to 0 and was not in any search engines. I've lossed a lot of money and still am not back on the Search engines. I dont recommend them.

Author: truthbetold Subject: Wow, this is amazingly believable Posted: Thu Sep 30, 2004 10:47 pm (GMT 0) Topic Replies: 0 It seems that this forum has a bunch of "members" who are very happy with Traffic Power and 1P (the same company, I believe?), yet very much unhappy with every other SEO firm in existence. What are the odds of that? Depends on who the "members" are, and who created the forum, doesn't it? Having heard horror stories from folks who identified themselves as former clients of TP/1P, it's hard to imagine them having any happy customers at all.
