Search marketing in the new media era.

June 02, 2005

Andy Beal Launches Blogvangelism.com, a Blog About Blogging
So I've decided that working on one blog is clearly not enough of a challenge. :-)

To that end, I've decided to launch a second blog that focuses on a topic that is fast becoming a passion, blogging. Yes, the past two years of running Search Engine Lowdown, have taught me a lot about blogs and viral marketing, but I still have a lot to learn. I'm hoping to share what I've learned and create a repository of industry information that I hope you will find interesting.

Blogvangelism is a name that I thought would be perfect for the new blog. It conveys exactly the spirit of the new publication; spread the word about blogs, RSS, wikis, syndication and viral marketing. It will have a very similar format to SEL; short interesting posts, my thoughts, and an opportunity for you to either agree or disagree with me.

I thought about issuing a press release to announce the new blog, then I considered the irony of using an old medium to announce a blog on the new medium. So I'm hoping that you'll help spread the word and maybe consider stopping by to read or add the rss feed to your aggregator. :-)
